Will this work without those plug ins? I'm fairly new to the program, so I don't know how that works.

No, it will not. So you will need an Apo 2.06, like this one: [link]
And then, just download the plugins ([link] and [link]), unzip them, create a folder called "plugins" in the directory that holds your apo.exe file and save/move the .dll file.
